It’s Christmas Eve, and if your inbox is anything like mine, it’s filled with automated out-of-office replies. The world seems to have hit pause. Honestly, I secretly adore this time of year when everything slows down. But, here I am, still committed to work before the holiday officially begins. And let’s not forget the chaos of kids playing behind my desk while I’m trying to focus—a beautifully messy reminder of real life.
But let’s dive into something deeper today. Have you ever had one of those weeks where you’re just not feelin’ it? Grumpy, unmotivated, stuck in the social media scroll-hole, and juggling tasks without real progress? Yep, that was me recently. Let me share how I navigated through it—and how you can, too.
The Voices in Your Head: A Battle We All Face
If you’ve ever felt like the negative self-talk in your head has taken over, know this: You’re not alone. The “not good enough” narrative sneaks in, whispering lies about your worth and productivity. It’s exhausting, isn’t it?
Even as someone who has tools like meditation, yoga, and coaching at my fingertips, those voices got the better of me last week. But here’s the thing: you can break the cycle. You just need the right tools and mindset shifts.
Breaking Free: My Three-Step Formula
When I found myself spiraling, I realised I was relying on three pillars to get back on track: Brain, Body, and Being. Let’s unpack this so you can start implementing them in your life.
1. Brain: Rewire Your Thoughts
Sometimes, when you're deep in frustration, affirmations and positive statements feel like a joke. Instead, I leaned into practices like hypnosis and meditation. Why? Because these tools help rewire your brain on a subconscious level, creating new neural pathways that lead to a healthier mindset.
Even listening to a 10-minute guided meditation can make a world of difference. When your brain is rewired through intentional rest and focus, you slowly start to quiet the negative chatter.
Action Step: Find a meditation or hypnosis track that resonates with you and commit to just 10 minutes a day. Consistency is more powerful than intensity.
2. Body: Move to Shift Your Energy
We carry emotions in our bodies. They lodge in muscles and joints, creating tension we might not even notice until we start moving. For me, yoga is the ultimate reset button. Specifically, hot yoga pushed me to my edge—emotionally and physically. It was in the middle of an intense pose that I finally cracked, allowing built-up tears and frustration to release.
This isn’t just anecdotal; there’s science behind it. Movement helps release endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals, while also freeing up trapped energy in our tissues.
Action Step: Move daily. It doesn’t have to be yoga—go for a walk, dance in your living room, or hit the gym. The key is to move with intention and let your body lead the way.
3. Being: Lean Into Your Community
When you’re in a funk, it’s tempting to isolate yourself. Resist the urge. I reached out to my sister, a close friend, and my yoga teacher. This simple act of vulnerability reminded me that I’m not alone. Community doesn’t just offer support—it offers perspective.
For overachievers like us, the need for connection is often overshadowed by our drive to handle everything solo. But guess what? Support is not weakness. It’s strength. Having a group of women who “get it” is transformative.
Action Step: Reach out to one person today—whether it’s a friend, mentor, or family member. Share what’s on your mind and allow them to hold space for you.
The Power of Release
The culmination of these practices led to a profound moment of release during that hot yoga class. I walked out feeling lighter, freer, and more aligned. The shift wasn’t just in my mood—it was in my entire energy field. When I caught my reflection in the mirror, I saw a woman ready to rise again.
This is what I want for you: the ability to move through the hard stuff and come out stronger. Life isn’t about avoiding challenges; it’s about learning how to navigate them with grace and resilience.
Why You Need a Toolbox (and a Coach)
The tools I shared—brain rewiring, body movement, and community—are like your emotional first-aid kit. But let’s be real: it’s easy to forget what’s in the kit when you’re in the thick of it. That’s where having a coach and a supportive community makes all the difference.
At The Rich Lady Revolution, we help women like you build these habits into your life so they become second nature. Imagine having a team cheering you on, guiding you, and holding you accountable to your goals.
It’s Time to Step Into Alignment
This isn’t just about feeling better; it’s about becoming the woman you’re meant to be. The one who tames those inner voices, stands in her power, and lives life unapologetically on her terms.

Closing Thoughts
Remember, you don’t have to have it all together all the time. None of us do. What matters is that you show up for yourself, even when you’re not feelin’ it. And when you do? That’s where the magic happens.
Merry Christmas, my love. Here’s to a year filled with alignment, abundance, and audacious success.
With love,
Michelle Annexx
